'CoolPlay' designed a series of exploration boxes for families with young children. We believe that children's learning should not be limited to the classroom.
At home, at school, and in the community, they can also inspire their thinking, cultivate their interests, and unleash their unlimited potential through exploration activities.
Family Award for Excellence in Exploration
To encourage parent-child exploration, CoolPlay has launched the Excellent Family of Exploration Award to recognize parents and children who submit complete exploration reports to the online platform, encouraging more families to continue exploring together.

Campus Exploration Tour
Starting from schools and teachers, we provide child-centered exploration activities, conduct exploration activities in the classroom, observe and record the process, and inspire teachers to quickly guide exploration.
Learning experience
It provides a variety of exploratory activities for children from K1 to K3 . After each activity, parents help upload the learning process and their feelings to the platform. The platform records the children's activity results and automatically generates learning experiences.
Parent-child exploration trip
It provides a variety of exploration activities for young children, encouraging parents to explore with their children and learn eight key concepts and everyday life tips through simple tasks.
Activity Certificate
Parents and children from partner schools of the Jockey Club's "Smart, Fun, and Interesting" program will receive an activity certificate automatically generated by the platform as a form of recognition and encouragement if they complete a specified number of exploration activities during the school year.

Resources
Providing quality learning resources for families is one of the goals of the Jockey Club's "CoolPlay" Project. Well-designed learning resources can not only enhance children's learning motivation but also extend learning beyond the classroom, paving the way for lifelong learning.
Little Science Diary
Observation and recording are both important scientific skills. Recording allows children to perceive changes in things more clearly and compare experimental results with their predictions, thereby improving their scientific inquiry abilities (Wheatley et al., 2016)。
We encourage parents and children to engage in scientific observation and recording. During this process, writing and drawing notes can stimulate children's curiosity, leading them to ask questions, think, explain, and further explore the things around them. Furthermore, scientific exploration provides children with a meaningful context, encouraging them to record their observations through writing and drawing; therefore, "Little Science Diaries" can promote the development of children's literacy skills.
Parent Guide
The selected families of 20 partner schools get the Parent Guide of JumpStarter and two stories in Chinese and English regularly. The suggested activities are designed to be carried out by children working with parents, guardians or other appropriate adults. The original Cowey stories provide children with a meaningful context to think further, explore further and do further.

The box contains three types of exploration sets:
Little Discoverer: Recommended for K1 children, focusing on helping children learn to use simple tools.
Little Explorer: Recommended for K2 children, focusing on sensory exploration and loose materials.
Little Adventurer: Recommended for K3 children, focusing on developing design thinking and problem-solving skills.
